# Alliances

Alliances FAQ

## What are Alliances?

Alliances are player-run guilds or clans. They allow groups of up to 30 players to band together for social features and exclusive gameplay benefits.

### 1. Key Benefits of Joining an Alliance

There is almost no downside to being in an Alliance, and the benefits are massive:

* **Alliance Raids:** These are special PvE events where the entire alliance works together to defeat massive bosses with millions of HP. You share damage progress; if you take 50% of a boss's health, a teammate can finish it off.
* **Zord Events:** Similar to raids, Alliance rankings in Megazord events provide some of the best loot in the game.
* **Friendly Matches:** You can challenge alliance members to unranked sparring matches. This is the only way to test new teams or practice combos without losing Medals on the ladder.
* **Shard Donations:** You can request specific Zeo Shards (Common, Rare, and sometimes Epic on "Epic Mondays") from your teammates.<br>

### 2. How to Join or Create

* **Unlock Requirement:** You must reach Player Level 2 to unlock the Alliance feature.
* **Searching:** You can search for alliances by name or filter by "Open" (anyone can join) vs. "Invite Only."
* **Creating:** It costs a small fee of [Power Coins](/prlw/game-information/power-coins.md) (usually 1,000) to create your own Alliance, allowing you to set the name, icon, and description.

### 3. How do I create an Alliance?

1. Reach Player Level 2
2. Tap on the Shield Icon on the left nav bar.&#x20;
3. Tap create. Make sure you have enough Power Coins to create one.

### 4. Alliance "Etiquette"

Most active alliances have strict rules to ensure fairness:

* **Donation Minimums:** Many require you to donate a certain number of shards per week.
* **Raid Participation:** "Leeching" (joining a raid but dealing 0 damage) is often grounds for being kicked.
* **Node Sniping:** In Raids, stealing the "final blow" on a boss that someone else did all the work on is considered rude because the killer gets a special bonus chest.

### 5. Why can't I join an Alliance?

1. If you leave an alliance, you may not be able to rejoin right away.&#x20;
2. The alliance may be set to "invite only." If it is, you must be approved by members in the Alliance to join.&#x20;
3. The alliance may have requirements set for a minimum League that you are below
4. The Alliance may be full. Alliances can only have up to 30 members at one time

### 6. What are Alliance Megazord Leaderboards?

The Alliance Leaderboards are based on the amount of damage an Alliance has done in Megazord battles during a Megazord event time frame. The higher your Alliance's ranking is at the end of the event, the better the rewards!

If you leave your Alliance during the event, you will not receive Leaderboard rewards for the event.
